First Presbyterian Church of Alamogordo is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

On Sunday, May 19, the church will celebrate the Day of Pentecost. Traditionally held as the "Birthday of the Church," Pentecost marks the day when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples of Jesus as they waited in the Upper Room. From that day forward, the preaching of the Gosepl spread through all the world.
Pastor Bob will present a Pentecost sermon entitled, "Waiting." Everyone is invited to wear something red to church as we celebrate our beginnings.
Scripture readings for this Sunday include Acts 2:1-21, John 14:8-17, Romans 8:14-17, and Psalm 104:24-34.
First Presbyterian Church, 1318 14th Street, begins worship each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Sunday School starts at 9 a.m., and a Nursery is available for all services. Children from four years through 5th grade are invited to a special class during the second half of worship. Fellowship with refreshments follows worship. Everyone is welcome!
